Countless Birthday Blessings

Have been skipping many many posts that I used to have in mind. But this one, it is so important that I would really love to journal it down, to remember another awesome blessing in life. Yeap, I am gonna talk about my 22nd birthday!! =D

Counting my blessings...

Decided to start this with the video above, because I was so amazed by the heart of this girl, this one girl that I used to stick so much with. She knew I am forever busy but accept me as who I am, no matter how I always failed to show her my priorities, she is there, SHE IS JUST THERE! Ms YitingLim, you had my promise, forever friend, please don't ever abandon this friendship. I don't know how and what to prove you, but it means so much to me. Really. :')

This year, it was different. It was not so much about being pretty, being the Queen of the day. Rather, for the first time ever, after late night sleeping just to receive and respond to many wishes, I need to wake up that early the next morning, for the fund raising car wash. I guess as time past, birthday somehow upgraded to be just another ordinary day. I don't know, perhaps it's because those who used to celebrate so much with me, are all far far away. But yea, this year, I was involved in our life group fund raising for our church, and it was on the exact same day, we had the car wash. Guess what, I was so excited in doing it. Really, when you are growing older and older, you started to realize the true meaning of birthdays. It means so differently doing the car wash compared to non stop celebration. On your sort of big day, instead of non stop receiving, you give and bless others through yourself, what an honour! :)

Family in Christ. :')

A family that I found in this foreign place, a place that I can now call it home simply because of each and everyone of you. Thank you for so much learning and growing together, it was a wonderful milestone that I had in life. And yes, I love you. ♥

She stole my key and purposely came to my place to set this up. But I was so blind that almost fail her surprise! Told you I can really ignore things that I dont want to see, very easily. HAHA. But ♥ :')

Careful enough to observe my luxury need. So surprised, even though I have know some of you for less than 3 months. Thank you. :')

When I thought that's all, she had this hanging on my room's door. You know, even though I was complaining you using my paper, my heart is warmed, by every single word that you've written. ♥

I told her dont give me anything. But still, this pop out even though she was not physically here in Brissy. For once I thought I'm gonna seal this up and keep for life. She said I am crazy, with a smile on her face I guess. :')

This is Australia, and I received a red/pink packet from her mum. It feels so like home. So feel like crying. :')

It was so simple yet so loved, when I opened up the handmade card from him! And he said, 'yea, this brunch on me.' :')

She was complaining the stupid carriage took too long to get this arrived. But guess what, my heart was like smiling even before I receive it. And yea, she knew how much I love autumn! :')

They remember I force them to send me postcard wherever they went. And this time it came together with the super creative handmade card. I miss you, you, you, you, you, and you. :'(

You know, you guys are really a wonderful blessing to me. From the video, to the celebration, to each and every gift, and crazy phone call from those who are not here (including my firecracker sisters and lighter). Everything just melted my heart. So much so that when I think about it right now, I cant help but putting this big smile on my face! It was a wonderful day. In fact, knowing you guys in my life, I know I am bound to have this wonderful life. Thank you, each and everyone, no matter you are or not mentioned specifically here in this post, I just appreciate every single one of you in my life. I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE of YOU! It is you, who made up my day. ♥♥♥
