Trip to Melbs - Day three four

Don't know how long am I going to take in order to finish posting everything about Melbs, but anyhow, I will make sure everything be posted! Look back the Trip to Taiwan last year June, my blog just recorded it until Day 3, which is less than even half of the trip :( And the one to Bangkok with family mid of this year, the one with JPA's Law Genius to Gold Coast... I didn't even have time to write about it :'(

23 Nov 2012

Today, we combined with the so called JPA's Law gang. We had like what? More than 15 people all together? LOL
A must daily routine: Selca before we head out ;)
Another must : Hungry Jack shake shake ;)
HAHA! Yea! We kind of shake every single day for FREE stuff! Well, it doesnt always comes with Free stuff but guess what, there's 4 Hungry Jacks which are just nearby. We got to shake for 4 times to get the stuff that we want! IT WAS FOUR!! How could we not getting the free stuff with 4 chances? LOL
Phones + iPads + Hungry Jacks = Free breakfast every day! =D

Heard about it a lot. Colourful houses all along the beach. One of the scene taken inside the short 'Unfold' by JinnyBoy from Malaysia. Then I visited, Brighton Beach.
Long way to walk before reaching the beach.
Brighton Beach!!!

82 colourful bathing boxes, uniquely built and sized, yet regularly arranged along the beach, one of the supa tourist icon in Melbs! I guess it does come with some kind of history but hehehhehehe History is not my thing after all. Simply love the boxes which come with their own colours and drawings.

Finally finished taking all the pictures. Time to meet Uncle :)

So when was the last time I see him? Two years ago? Time flies.. two years felt like two days. Hmmm
Went to Chadstone Shopping Centre, which was claimed as the Southern hemisphere's largest shopping centre since 2009 as well as Australia's largest shopping centre since 2007. Anyway, to me, Shopping Centre in KL are all amazing enough. So...
Back back back! Chadstone is actually where my long-missed uncle worked at!

Taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa So cute of him!!
UNAGIUNAGIUNAGIUNAGIUNAGI
Get to have free food Big Thanks to my dearest uncle! Until now I'm still dreaming about this favourite of mine! OMG I seriously love UNGAI sooooooooooo much!!!!!
Always felt so blessed to have uncles and aunties watching me and my siblings since the day we were born. They never stop caring, but love us so much. So freely give us everything that we need, and sometimes even things that's luxurious to us. I love them!! Each and every one of my uncle and aunty!! ♥♥♥

Had our dinner in an Italian Restaurant, SVAGO Ristorante.

Urbanspoon gave a super high mark for this Italian shop. Overall, I find it ok, not too much of my thing. Ohyeaaaa it might also be due to what I had in Uncle's Sushi early on. You know, too much Unagi inside the stomach, not much space for other food. Teeeheeeeeeee ;)

24 Nov 2012

Another marked cafe in Melbourne, Manchester Press. Well known with the wonderful coffee art, we were just there with Stephanie for its art. Haha

Was suppose to have our brunch at Twenty and Six Espresso which is highly recommended by many. BUT, we were a bit too late for the brunch. Out of no choice, we went to somewhere nearby, named Auction Rooms.

Tried some of the lunch dishes, all taste pretty good. Yum!
Milo. Me. Kewei. Kewei's cousin brother.
Then, we head back to Melbourne City. What I can remembered is that I walked A LOT on that day. Walked from our place to Manchester Press of which we lost a bit, run back to our place to meet up with others, walked to take tram, walk in the city..... Simply non-stop WALKING!!
Was really tired after all. Thank God good food always cheer me up. Another dessert shop named Passion Flower! ;)

Look at the ice cream, the pancakes, the banana choco... DAMN IT!! Saliva is coming out at this very hour!

After all, Dinner time!! Hohohohoho
Forgot the name of the restaurant of our dinner, it is just located opposite the place where we stayed, and famous with its bone of the pork...

... where we can actually use a straw to suck and taste the inner essence within the bone like how I did..
Yummilicious!!

Haha! Dinner doesnt put a full stop in the food hunting! We went back home and rested for a while after our dinner, then next round! Another one of my favourite place in Melbs, Joo Mak!

Must blame the tour guide who brought us there for not telling me at first how awesome this place is! I was too tired and went there with my spec instead of contact lens! No one had stop me from doing that and I ended up taking ZERO nice photo in this place! GRRRRRR

Rice Wine
Soju!
Very different from normal Korean restaurant, JooMak has its own unique atmosphere which is the best place for people to hang out and just talk!! How I wish I can have my firecracker sisters there and I bet we will not leave the place until someone force us to go! No kidding, I really miss the time to just talk rubbish with my babe. Do you girls miss me? :(

Ended the third and forth day in Melbourne with just food and shopping!! WOW! No idea how much have I ate for that four days! LOL But lalalalalalala, not regret for anything. If the time repeat, thing will still be the same, FOOD!! Teeheee

*Out of topic*
Finally I get to learn coffee TODAY!! Was planning to go for some classes but then now it seems like I don't have to waste the money for that. No more working from this week onward but finally I can start learning coffee!!!!! Woooohoooooo Super long awaited since I started to work in the Cafe. Now the fire of learning heart burn up really high! Call me Barista in no time! Winkwink*

Trip to Melbs- Day two

Yeah motivation came to continue to update the post :)

22. Nov 2012

Second day in Melbs. Well, today is all about shopping and... food. Teeheee ~

I miss this mirror in front of the lift in Milano :'(

My gang had been missing Dimsum soooo much. So yea, had our first breakfast in Melbourne at..

Gold Leaf

The above is just part of it. We ordered like quite a lot? And you know, after we started to eat, those that came in half way, no one bother to take picture anymore. Hehe. Overall, the food there is good. Environment is super nice too. Love the Creamy Custard Bun to the max!! YUMM!! But the lo mai gai is a bit disappointed. Suddenly miss the one I used to have in KL every Monday night. Awwww Cant wait to fly back home!!

Pretties in front of the big 'gate' <3 font="font">

Oh yea, Gold Leaf is located inside Harbour Town! Finished breakfast, shopping time! Ohhhh now I remembered, we started to shop even before the breakfast! Girls... Teeheeee

Next stop, another shopping venue, DFO ;)

Split into groups and spent hours inside the shopping heaven. Well I bought some but Taaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

HE WON!!!!!!! LOL
Just a random pic, Ta shuo ta zi ji XIAO NIAO YI REN. Wo yao TUUUUU ler!! muahahhaa
Sorry for those who don't understand Mandarin. The above was typed in my first language in Chinese's Pinyin. Just ignore my word if you dont get it cause anyhow you will still understand through the picture below.. LOL
Got it? Hehe

Okaes, now come to dessert's time. Well, I've always love the chocolate stuff in Max Brenner in Brissy. To be exact, it is everywhere in Australia. A really nice place to have yourself pampered with all the chocolate related food and drinks at the same time chilling with friends. But now...

Koko Black has became my new love!! I mean seriously I really really really miss this place in Melbs!!! The hot chocolate is like aaaaaaawesome! What a waste that we went for just one time in that 7 days. Nevermind, I know that I will come again, I really really will! :)

After Koko Black, we finally meet with the other gang of mine whose came from different part of Australia. Didn't get to snap them a photo on this day so wait me for the next post yea?

Again, time for food! Danny brought the two big gang to this place that served China's Sichuan food.

I personally love the Sour Fish Soup as it really tastes something like what we had back in Sibu. Awwww I miss home once again.

One last stop of the day, Crown Melbourne

Feel the Christmas coming?
Like the 3D pictures that we can see through this little world.

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE, I can finally walked like 'I am eligible' into Casino. Recalled how Dad used to help me for few times before in Genting and we failed and I never wanna try again. But this time it's different. I've passed 21 and the minimum age in Aus is 18. Waowwww
Amazed by the inner part of the casino. Obviously couldn't get any picture from there but yea, it is really a super huge one and with many different type of games. Didn't get to play any after all due to the late timing. May be next time? ;)

Instead, we get to take photos outside the casino.

Fire performance once an hour outside the casino :)
There ended our day. Sorry I had it in quite a boring way cause I am really sleepy now and I can't think of anything to make this post interesting. But after all, I will still be my own Big supporter! Really, no one will love my blog more than me myself. <3 font="font">

Time to sleep! Let me end the post with one of my favourite picture..

Good Night World.

Trip to Melbs- Day one

Have been planning this since September due to the cheap flight plus a little impulsion. One of the strong reason that motivates us to end the exam as soon as possible, We Are Flying Off to Melbourne for Holiday!!

21.Nov.2012

One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, plus me, Nine. Yea.. we really wanna tell everyone that we are from Uni of Queensland LOL

Touched down in the Melbs airport, first thing came straight into my mind, I BROUGHT ALL THE WRONG SEASON CLOTHING!! I thought it's summer in Australia now, like how it is in Brissy. But what, that kind of wind and temperature definitely means winter! GG.com

Took the cab to friends' apartment, named Milano. The moment we walked in, we thought we were going to stay  in a HOTEL, no kidding. When we happen to know that around how much the rental cost for each month, *jawdropped*, no wonder it looks like a hotel. Too bad now I realized I didnt get any photo to prove it but trust me, no kidding.

Big warm welcome by this wonderful tour guide aka my high school mate aka my mother's friend's son aka Mr.Ting aka DANNY. Gonna have a special post about my appreciation so now gonna skip saying thank you first ;)

Dropped all our luggage, city we are coming!!

Each of us + Tour Guide Mr. Ting
First thing to do, feed our stomach. After discussing for like quite some time, as we normally did, we decided to have our first meal at Ajisen Ramen. Missed out the most popular Ramen as it was so happen to be sold out on that day. Tried the Tan Tan Ramen instead, not bad. :)

Filling up stomach, time to explore!! Walking around in the city of Melbs, bearing the strong wind under shinny sun, breathing in the cozy air, smell of Melbourne ;)

St Pauls' Cathedral
Photo bomb by Milo. LOL

Street art in the City of Melbourne, Graffiti.

Heard from Danny that the drawings change very often, amazed by the awesome skills they have. Simply add a lot of beautiful colours into Melbourne city.

Guys, I know this seems crazy. Sitting under the sun and don't really feel like moving? This just doesnt sound right for us Asian. But trust me, when you are really tired walking and when the wind is kind of freezing, everything just makes sense. ;)

In front of Flinders St Station
The above picture was snapped by a man that's suppose to be on duty at the tram stop. Some tricks were played by him and I believe that most of the people who went to Melbs must have experienced the same thing and be taken the same picture by the same man. My confidence came from what I saw the next day when he did the same trick to the other same gang of people. FUNNY! Haha.

In da Tram :)
Love the piano <3 td="td">
Quite a big town to walk around. We spent hours taking picture and discovering around, never realize that it was already 8pm ish. The day time is somehow much more longer than night time. Quite not used to it on the first day. But now, I miss it.

Had our first dinner at Stalactites Restaurant. It is a Greek restaurant that opened up 24/7 in the City. GOSH I am sooooo in love with it. No idea what was the food we ordered called, but I still have the taste in my mind now! Really, worth a try :)

After dinner, hide inside the toilet with the girls just to have the hand dryer as our personal heater! What a cold plus freezing night!!

It's a Wednesday night, managed to get to the night market that on every Wednesday. Forgot when was the last time I get into a night market. Seriously miss those in KL like a lot a lot a lot. Back to Melbs, yea, night market. With lots of food, and souvenir I guess..? Sorry for the super not observant. Teeheeee

Line for a super long queue for this, Churros. Sorry guys, this is my first time having churros. Haha. Taste really good, but fat enough especially with the choco dip. Hmm

Okaes. Kind of ended our first day with lots of walk and food. Haha. To be continue...

Before that, let's end this with a jump shot!

YEAHHHH!!

Exam, Result.

Stressed for the two crazy weeks, like REALLY REALLY STRESS! Accumulated everything in the last minute, I've experienced the toughest and most tortured ever period in my life. Non-stop calculating how much more to go, forced it to impossibly match with the so little time left. My life left with just study, and nothing! Gosh, I don't even dare to flash back all those memories, Can you feel the horribleness?

A.N.Y.W.A.Y.

Wooooohooooo ~
Exam is done! Efficient indeed, the result came out exactly two weeks from the end of exam period. Guess what, despite the one and only subject that I failed during primary four, I got the WORST EVER result in my life! I mean I know, it's way too last minute, I deserve that result. :'(
People, can you imagine I got THREE Credits out of four subjects!? :''''''''''''''''''''''''(
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Really really think that I can do much much more better compared to this result. But what to do, I am the one who didn't put enough effort, I am the one who screwed things up. After all, praise the Lord for helping me to pass EVERYTHING. Yea.. for the first time ever in my life, I thought I was going to fail two subjects after the exam!!!!!!! It's just soooo tough for me and I kind of messed up half of paper for both the two subjects!! ''FAIL a SUBJECT'' Can you imagine I actually thought of that!?

A.N.Y.W.A.Y.A.N.Y.W.A.Y.

Enough complaint. The fact is not going to change no matter how unsatisfied I am. Seriously sad on one side for not putting ALL possible effort for this exam. BUT, the other side, I really wanna Thank God for being my super big provider. When I thought that I was at the edge of failing and stuff, His mercy and grace managed to give me something that I can take on. At least I didn't fail any subject, and I really can't imagine if I did.

After all these, I kind of realize that there are so many things that is beyond human's ability. Since ever, I never fail to manage my studies and result. But this time, God kind of put me through something, reminding me that I am nothing without Him. NOTHING WITHOUT HIM!

Done. Be patient for my upcoming post about Trip to Melbourne!!!! WINKWINK*
