I love Cairns.

After a year studying here, finally I am done with my Bachelor course!! Gonna skip the unspeakable torture part about what we have been through the final exam, the thing is, we went through, and here come the 'waited for soooooooooooo long' Cairn's graduation Trip ;)

A lot of the times when it's just non stop discussing and no one making any decision or action, things will never be done. It's a 4 days 3 nights trip of which we have planned out of random (I suppose) and I really glad that we made it! :) Forgotten when was the last time of me feeling really really really excited about a trip. This time, the word 'Cairns' will pop out in my mind even during exam period. Keep flipping the pages of the little travel booklet introducing Cairns, I know how anticipated I was, and definitely I know the reason why. :)

From Brissy
From Adelaide
From Melbourne

Once again, meeting up with my lawyers' gang. Too bad a lot of them couldnt make it due to the never ending exam, but I know we have more to come. Let's just wait and plan for the next one. Hehe

Accommodation
As shown in the above, there's a total of eight of us, so we decided to stay in an apartment which consists of two bedroom, with one double bed and two single beds each, named ReefGateway. It is a really nice apartment with many necessities provided (even washing machine and dryer!) Click on RGgallery to check out different pictures about the apartment. Trust me, the real condition is just as nice as the picture. :) Also, the owners of the place are really friendly and helpful. The cost for 3 nights is $450 which is like 55 ish per person, reasonable. To me, personally, if there has to be something bad about the place, I would say it's a bit too far from the city. It might be ok for some people to walk like 20-30 minutes to the city along the esplanade but definitely not to me, I don't really walk a lot. Hehe. But guess what, that's not a very big deal after all. We basically order for Cab everytime when we needa go out or come back. Just a few minutes drive and it costs about 15- 20 bucks per way, which after the division, cost us less than 2 dollar each. Saving energy saving time, why not? Teeheee~

Okaes. Now its the exciting part, THINGS WE DID IN CAIRNS

First night, Blue Fireflies.
Actually it wasn't just about blue fireflies. That is a tour that bring us to 3 different places, to experience Hummer like a real life roller coaster, to watch the starts and blue fireflies, and also to feed wallaby in the dark.

Our Hummer and the driver!
Wallaby- the mini Kangaroo
Out of all three for the first night, I love the starts and the bluefireflies so so much! It was the first time when I see so much starts in the dark sky, different in both sizes and brightness. And the first time, when I see the Polaris and Southern Cross stars with my own eyes, not in the book or the internet, but my OWN EYES!! Awwwwww ♥♥♥

Second day, the reason I came Cairns, Scuba Diving!

Ever since the last time I went sea walking in Pattaya, I knew there must be something linking me and the sea. First time in life, scuba diving. Before that, we had a short lesson about what to do under the sea. Everyone sort of understand everything, but when it comes to real under the sea, it's not really that easy then. I am glad that even though I was a bit nervous when I first went down, I made it to the end! The world under is really different, different in a way that I love so so much!

Other than deep dive, there's also a total of 5 hours unlimited snorkeling in two different spots. Unbelievable clear water, that you will see flock of fishes swimming here and there. AMAZING

Another excitement of the package, helicopter bring us to fly for 10 minutes around the Great Barrier Reef.

View from top of the sky :)
Last but not least, I enjoyed very much sitting on top front of the cruise, under the sun yet strong wind blowing... Someone please fulfil the promise of having your own cruise and send me an invitation to make this happen again. Hehe

To my beloved diving instructor, Thank you. You did a good job. Love the way how you gave us the short lesson, funny and interesting. Thank you for reminding me to use my camera when I was so amazed by the underwater view, and help me to change the camera from left to right hand. Thank you for showing me different things under the sea, even though we can't communicate through speaking. Thank you for bringing me down again, when I thought that it's gonna end there. Thank you for being such a hero, you know what am I talking about. :) No idea if we will ever meet again, but definitely you are someone of whom I will never ever forget. Such an experience, such an excellency. ♥

Day 3, another first one in life, Rafting.

Have no idea what rafting was, I just want to try everything. A total of few hours raft, under the command by a well trained river guide, all we did was just listen to her command! Yes, its a her!

It was really exciting and I don't have any chance to take picture especially when we were to raft across many different challenging areas. Throughout the journey,  Paddle, Hold on, Get down Keep left, Keep right... listen each and every command carefully. You know, if you are not holding tight enough, the whole thing will just flipped upside down, and you will be all wet! ;)

me and my team! ;)

Basically that's everything about Cairns. Once again, I wanna tell you how much I appreciate each and every travelling we had together. Thank you for being there together with me, having so much fun and laughter together. Seriously, plan for a next one? ;)

I love Cairns. We love Cairns. ♥

PS: If and only if you approve my request ;)
